Plenary
session
The highlight of this session will be the awaited presentation by
Professor
Luc Montagnier (Nobel Prize) who will present his latest
studies on « nano-elements from pathogenic microorganisms
», meaning the ability that water has to record and
transmit
information. The title of his speech is « Tomorrow’s
preventive medicine »; he will share with us the hope
that this
work represents for the future prevention of several pathologies.
The plenary session will also give us the opportunity to :
• Address two questions regarding the
clinical practice of homeopathic physicians:
• What is clinical practice?
by P. Josset, M.D.
• What is preventive medicine?
by A.C. Marchand,
M.D.
• And also an update on clinical research
with
Philippe Marijnen M.D., Projects and Research Coordinator for Boiron
Laboratories who will report on The contribution of clinical
research
towards a better understanding of the mechanisms of action of some
homeopathic medicines.
Finally, two physicians will present their experiences in palliative
and supportive care in neurology (Fabio Bolognani - Brasil)
and degenerative diseases
(Vassilka Yuroukova – Bulgaria / USA).
All plenary sessions will be videotaped and available online at www.CEDH.org
by October 29th, 2009.
The workshops
Three workshop sessions are planned :
•
One workshop session on Friday, September 18th
in the afternoon
• And two sessions on Saturday, September 19th
in the morning.
During the
networking workshops the participants will be able to
exchange ideas and discuss with the authors regarding the contributions
available online at www.CEDH.org (starting in July 09). A moderator
will open and animate the debates.
The CME workshops will consist of a one-hour
presentation followed by
30 minutes of Q&A. Several French physicians are already familiar
with these topics but they have rarely been presented to an
international audience.
Each attendee can only sign-up for 3 workshops. The networking
workshops will take place twice during the conference, and once with a
simultaneous English translation. The CME workshops will only be
proposed once during the conference with a simultaneous English
translation .
The highlights of these workshops will be available online at www.CEDH.org
starting in October 09.
The program of the plenary session and the workshops might be subject
to changes until July.
The Forum
We will have a large Forum with exhibit stands presenting our
international partner schools. This will be a great opportunity to get
together and meet around poster sessions.
Finally a gala evening at the Congress Center will be
the ideal way to
continue exchanging ideas in a professional and friendly setting. |
